Variety Special
This unforgettable, fun packed day of discovery will take you trekking off the beaten track to visit some of the tiny villages in Southern Gambia. Ride in comfort on board ex-army trucks on the beaten track to see, at first hand, how people live in our tiny villages. Our first stop will be at a typical Gambian village where visitors are entertained by the villagers. After, we then move on to another village where the school headmaster will take us on a conducted tour of his school at another village, before a call at a famous palm wine tapper’s to demonstrate his skills and give you a sample of his local palm wine. There will be an opportunity to visit Tanji village museum.
Lunch will be served on the beach at Sanyang or Kartong, the western most tip of the African Continent where guests can enjoy a swim and experience the fabulous cool breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. After lunch, we visit to the Reptile Farm before heading home.
